Notice it. Own it. Grow together.

Build a business that doesn’t depend on you for everything.

I coach owners, CEOs, and their leadership teams through the decisions and recurring problems that keep the business coming back to the owner. Together, we decide what needs attention, who will take it on, and how to keep it moving.

I spent 21 years leading Kinco. I know what it means to be responsible for the business and the people who count on it.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I help owners, CEOs, and founders work through situations like these with their leadership teams.

Too much depends on you

Decisions and problems keep coming back to you, and you want your leadership team to take on more responsibility.

Important work keeps slipping

The team is busy, but daily demands take over. You need clearer focus and better follow-through.

Growth is stretching the business

Your people, processes, and systems need to catch up with the company you’re becoming.

Your leaders need to work better together

Unclear expectations, overlapping responsibilities, or avoided conversations are getting in the way.

You need a shared direction

You and your leadership team want to agree on where the business is going and what matters most next.

Sales or profits aren’t where they need to be

Revenue has stalled, margins are shrinking, or too little is left after expenses. You want to understand what’s driving the numbers and what needs to change.

Why work with me?

An owner’s perspective.

I owned and led Kinco for 21 years, working through the decisions, people challenges, and day-to-day demands that come with running a business. Today, as a Certified Bloom Growth Coach, I help owners, CEOs, and their leadership teams get clear on what matters and follow through together.

What we work toward.

We start by agreeing on what needs to improve in your business and how we’ll know the work is helping.

  • A clear direction your team can explain.
  • Important work that gets finished.
  • Decisions handled by the people responsible for them.
  • Meetings that end with decisions, clear responsibilities, and next steps.
  • Issues discussed openly and worked through.
  • Consistent ways of working that people actually use, with fewer missed handoffs and repeated mistakes.
  • Key metrics that you and the people responsible for them understand, review regularly, and act on.

How we start.

  1. A free conversation.

A 30-minute online conversation about your business, what’s getting in the way, and what you’d like to change. There’s no obligation to move forward.

  2. Build the foundation.

Four full-day leadership planning sessions over roughly 90 days, with check-ins between sessions. We clarify direction, choose priorities, and define responsibilities.

  3. Keep the work moving.

Your team runs a weekly leadership meeting. After the foundation, we meet for four one-day quarterly planning sessions and a separate two-day annual planning session, with agreed check-ins between sessions.

How Bloom Works

A clear plan your team can put to work.

Bloom Growth gives us a structure for the work: where the business is going, who is responsible for what, and how the team follows through. We also work on how your leaders communicate, make decisions, and handle difficult conversations.

Where the name comes from

Why a paper clip?

In my first year after buying the business from my parents, my dad stayed involved to mentor me. One day I noticed a paper clip on the floor outside his office and bent down to pick it up. “Leave it,” he said. “I want to see who cares enough to pick it up.”

That moment stayed with me. It’s the idea behind Paper Clip Coach: helping build a business where people care about their work, take ownership, and look out for one another.
